Tom is an obese boy.He is so fat that he will be panting like a pig after running for 5 minutes and he clothes often tear when he is doing exercises. Therefore,he was always a laughing stock."Pathetic"this is what people frequently called him.He is always in a state of apathy when doing exercises.He is very indolent and only likes to eat and sleep.However,one day,surprisingly,he was in a pique and he decided to lose fat.Day by day,his weight began to wane.From then, nobody dares to laugh at him again.

Tim and friends are going for a field trip.It was to go to a place called"Horror Land",iheheard that it was really spooky,buthe had never went there before.Finally,they have reached the place.The tower was really spooky,bats circled around it and the walls are all worn out,further more,the gloomy weather makes the place looks scarier."Just cry if you are scared!"teased his friend,john."John,i have eradicated my fears long time ago!"Tim snorted."Hmph!"John said,disgruntled.They walked on and saw a skeleton hanging in mid-air,followed by an eerie scream."Eeeeeeeeeeeeee!"Mindy shrieked,"cockroaches!"Theye laughed ,she is sometimes very vulnerable to creepy-crawlies. My friends and i are very ardent to start the journey.We were loaded for bear in climbing Mount Everest,the highest mountain in the world!After climbing for a few hours,we were all beat,but i told my frriends to try to culminate and to reach the pinnacle of the mountain.After a few gruelling days,we finally reached the summit!"We made it1"we exclaimed in exultation.Finally,we have conquered the highest mountain in the world!

It was once in a blue moon that inspector tom solved a case,he was a remiss person,but his acute sense of smell helped other detectives to solve cases.Once,he smelt a pungent odour and a body was found,shockingly,the body was about 100 metres from him! One day,he have just received his bonus,and he strolled casually home.whistling happily.However,his happiness is terse,as he soon met with a robber.After a tussle with the robber,the robber finally pushed him to the ground and sped off.Luckily,he only suffered superficial injuries.However,thanks to his acute sense of smell,and the help of his teammates,he managed to track the the robber and brought him to jucstice.

WEEK25 ENGLISH JOURNAL

Once there was a senile but kind emperor in China, and he always long for longevity.One day.he asked his advise,"how can i be an immortal?"The adviser,being known as a sage in China,answered,"sir,there is no such thing as immortal, you can never be one and a human have to die sooner or later.""What rubbish!I will find a prescription for immortality."the emperor retorted and stomped away.

The next day,a man drape in rags came to see the emperor,he said:"Sir,i can make a potion that can make you an immortal."'Awesome!make me one now."the emperor exclaimed in surprise."But it will be expensive.I'll need a thousand pearls,a five hundred gold bars and a hundred jades."replied the man slyly"All right,take what you want and made that potion.Make sure you finish in one hour."This potion is turning out to be expensive..."the adviser thought silently,"this is bound to be a scam!"Truely.the man hoarded all the treasures and made a fake potion.

Soon,the potion is finished.The emperor took it and sighed ,"finally,longevity!"When the emperor was about to imbibe the potion, the adviser snatched it away and drank it in one gulp."What are you doing,you bastard!!!"the emperor roared furiously,like a volcanic eruption,"guards seize him!""Wait!i want to say something first!If the potion can make me immortal,then i f can't be killed!"the adviser shouted.The emperor thought for a while and said to the man"well,should i kill the adviser?"Upon hearing this,the man turned pale with terror and stammered,"erm...mm...i...ii......""Guards,throw him into jail!"the emperor bellowed.

"Sigh...how can i be immortal?"the emperor sighed as he rued at his idiotic act."Sir,everyone will have to die someday.you will have to accept life and death."said the adviser."Yes,thank you my faithful adviser,for teaching me such a precious lesson." paused the emperor,"looks like i have to accept that i can't control life and death."

After the incident,the emperor is not afraid of death anymore and he lives happy and fulfilling life afterwards.

2.I feel that protecting the natural habitats is very important.We are destroying the natural habitats of the animals by deforestation.However,fortunately,in Singapore,wildlife is still protected.Wildlife reserves such as "Sungai Buloh" is a habitat to the animals, therefore,in Singapore,natural habitats is still protected.It is still important to develop cities for the development of a country,but we must still think about protecting the natural habitats.Cities can be developed when it is a must,however in well-developed countries,the government can still consider about not to develop cities to such an extent thay nature and a lot of natural habitats are destroyed.

I think that some elderly people find this activity interesting while some do not.Most of them are clapping happily at the man's performance while the rest of them looks a little bit glum.

1.No,i do not like to go to the hairdresser as i think hairstyles are not important.Hair just have to be neat.Attitude is what that is important.Moreover,it is a waste of money going to a hairdresser.

2.CCTV or security cameras are necessary in public places.These devices can help to look out for criminals in action so that the police can can have an idea of what the suspect looks like.This makes the suspect easier to catch.Cctvs and security cameras make people feel more relaxed as they could be safer.They know that the suspect can be caught more easily and thus,feel more safe.

Week 15,i went to the newly renovated Sembawang Shopping Complex.It was very crowded and the shopping complex looked very different from the last one.While i was walking around the shoppong complex,i heard some salespersons declaimed that their products is good and that people should buy it.One of the customers claim that the price was too high and wanted to reduce it,she persevered but she still did not get the price she wanted.Then i went to a sopping mart to buy something,however,i make a mistake and accidentally dropped a mug.I tried to preclude it from dropping but to no avail.The mug broke and in the end,i had to pay for it.What bad luck!

STICKMAN MYSTERY-THE SOLUTION

A man is murdered in an alley and the chief wanted a detective to solve the case.Here is the solution:There are 1 witness and 2 suspects.One of the suspects has a scar on his cheek while the other have a gold tooth and a hole in the shirt.First,i go to the crime scene and search for some useful things in the rubbish bin,and i found a blood-stained knife in a purple paint can.Next,i went to the morgue in the hodpital to inspect the body.On the body.i found a green cloth in the victims's mouth and some numbers in his arm.I also found four numbers on the yellow key that is taken out out of the victim's pocket.I presume that the numbers on the victim's arm is a phone number.Indeed,the number is the phone number that leads to a bank in 405 wall street. I went to the bank and the teller said that to open a safety deposit box,one must know the number of the box which written on the yelllow key. In the deposit box ,i found a clue-the money which was stolen from the normalville bank .Then,i noticed that the hole in suspect number 2's shirt have the same pattern as that of the green cloth in the victim's mouth.Therefore,the murderer is suspect number 2.The murderer and the victim was the one one who robbed the bank and the victim stashed the loot in his safety deposit box.They then got into a quarrel and the murderer killed the victim.

WEEK 14th ENGLISH JOURNAL

Week 14,field trip to Singapore Supreme Court.The High Court are singular with tables and chairs lined neatly.The conductor told us not to create a havoc in the court and ruin our school's reputation.We was told that the high court hears both criminal and civil cases as a court of first instance. The High Court also hears appeals from the decisions of District Courts and Magistrate's Courts in civil and criminal cases, and decides points of law reserved in special cases submitted by a District Court or a Magistrate's Court. In addition, the High Court has general supervisory and revisionary jurisdiction over all subordinate courts in any civil or criminal .After hearing what the conductor have said,many students aspire to become a lawyer.This field trip have left a lot of impression on me and i hope that we could have such field trip again.

Week 13,bad day.The fact that i have lost my handphone is incontrovertible.I tried to call my phone number but it only emits vibration sound ,there sound,therefore,i could not find it.I also importune my brother if they have seen my phone but they have not.I found it cryptic as my handphone is not at the place where it should be found.Sigh...Where could it be?

CAN YOU IMPROVE YOUR ENGISH ?

English is an important subject as it international language.Everybody can improve their english even though thy not good at it.Firstly,to widen your vocab knowldge,you must read english books or newspaper everyday;for the words that are are unknown to you,you can check the dictionary but you must make sure that you that once you know the meaning of a word,you must not forget it.Next,after you have read the newspaper and books,you must practise your writing,observe how ther writers or the reporters write and determine what their style of writing is,,then try to follow it.This way,you can improve your writing.For oral,you can always watch english channels on the television,for instance,CNA(channel news asia).I will help if you listen to how they talk and how they pronounce certain words.Most of all.you should listen to the way they express themselves.Soon,your speech will improve.However,the most important factor of improving one's English is that he or she must work hard.Lastly,i wish that everybody will get good grades for English.:)

WEEK 12th ENGLISH JOUNAL

Maths tuition is such a bore.Do this problem,do that problem sum,every time do this do that,isn't it very xian*.Furthermore,i was coerce to do more than 50 questions!Once i just slack a bit,but it infuriates my phlegmatic tuition teacher(maybe he is in a bad mood).
Some of the questions are really hard ,but after comprehensive explanations,i was able to elicit the concepts and cope with the rest of the sums.
Two hours have passed and i could finally go home and rest my brain.

WEEK 11th ENGLISH JOUNAL

2 whole months have elapsed before the opening of my school.After a fruitless holiday in which i was literally "imprisoned" at home with the drudgery of completing my homework.
I kinda have a poignant regret about having not spending my holiday wisely as i seldom prepare for the horrible sec 3 years ahead of me.
Therefore,at the start of a lesson,i garbled up some of the concepts which teachers had taught me as they are REALLY elusive.At least the good thing about going back to school is to meet old friendz.
However,going home tuition starts and i have to find a list of articles pertinent to the subject the teacher is teaching.boring....
Sigh...Looks like the Sec 3 year is much more tougher and i have to work harder than usual.:(
